Hello friends! Welcome to the last week in February and Hello to March 🌱🌸 I wanted to switch out the last bit of my Winter Decor this week before March is here bringing all the Spring Vibes!! I found some nice greenery 🌿 neutrals and pops of color while browsing the isles of AT HOME and TJ MAX.
My new Spring table Center Peice!! I love using one main color (The Greenery) and then I like to add a pop of color (The Peach) with the cream as my neutral. That’s my theme for Spring and Summer! So for Easter 🐣 I will add a few decor items but i’ll keep the main color scheme the same. That way I’m not changing out decor over and over!!
On to TJ MAX!!
I was looking for a new throw for my sofa, and I found this super soft & cozy blue and cream one! It gives my neutral colored sofa some color!

Hello Friends! Happy Saturday 🙌🏼 We made it through another week. Temps here in the mid west have warmed up! Almost in the 40’s! Which naturally made me want to do a fun spring Eye look. 🌸 I came across this palette in Ulta and the color range of nudes to warm to cool was just calling my name!! You can do a simple look- to an all Glammed up Smokey look 👌🏻 soooo many possibilities!! This Morphe palette is also super affordable just under $25!! It’s considered a drugstore brand, so you can find it located by all your other drugstore favorites 🙌🏼 I’m so glad that Morphe is now at Ulta!!
So I decided to do two looks from this palette! Below is a warm and a cool look.

Start with your base color then add your crease color- (blending is key) then- Apply your lid color- outer V- brow bone color & then follow with your inner corner highlight!
Hope this gives you some fun color inspiration! It’s fun to play around with color- especially when there are so many vibrant ones to choose from. The color pay off with these shadows are great.. so pigmented a little goes a long way! To make the color pop on your lid, wet your eye shadow brush with water or any setting spray. Then dip- into your shadow color and press onto your lid, you’ll see the color come to life! Also for 35 individual eyeshadows this palette is a steal making every shadow less than a $1.. can’t really beat that!! XO MARIE

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your time with your loved ♥️ ones today!! It’s been a relaxing one for me, got some Starbucks 🙌🏼 this morning.. so naturally that was a great start to Valentine’s! So this DIY was inspired by wanting an easy cute look for today, but not wanting to go out and get something new. I was pretty sure I had some sort of pink in my closet lol!! So I had these pair of jeans that I got from Target that I never really wore..but I think they’re super cute because of the moto jean design on the legs. Anyway, I’ve distressed some of my denim in the past, which i’ll do a whole blog post on, in the near future! So I figured why not give these the trendy raw hem!! It gives your jeans a little bit of edge – totally wearable for anytime of the day, because we’re being just a “tad” bit “edgy” lol! Which is always my go to..I dont like to have to reaply my lip color multiple times a day. With these you won’t have to. MOONWALK is a pinkish/ purple with some soft hues of lilac, beautiful as a daytime color!!

So when it’s time to remove my makeup at the end of the day, Yes to Cucumbers makeup remover wipes are my all time fav’s.. with a soothing feel to them. They literally smell like cucumbers! They Never burn around my eyes or leave my skin feeling dried out. I generally use two wipes to take off all my makeup, then follow with a splash of cold water and wipe my face dry with a towel.
